Although it is of course very nice (and exciting) to travel in Africa with a 4×4, it is not always necessary. The roads are easily accessible and if your trip is composed in such a way that you prefer to leave the rugged terrain to our guides, we always look at what type of car you really need. A type like this, the Nissan X-Trail, does have an elevated ground clearance, but not a 4×4 – but a 4×2 drive. The advantage of this is that the car consumes less and also costs less per day in both the rate and insurance.

For all vehicles we offer it is possible that you can collect the vehicle at location A and return it to location B in another country (Botswana, Namibia & South Africa). Our selected partners make this possible!
