At Xakanaxa lies the old airstrip. This plain is popular with lions, especially among lions with young cubs. It is easier to hunt prey on the plains than in thick bushes. On plains there is more room to approach and chase their prey. While the mother is hunting, the little ones can watch her from the bushes and learn. There comes a day when they will have to do the hunting themselves.
It is not possible to book the BOGA sites for self-drives, these campsites can only be reserved by companies that are affiliated with the Botswana Guides Organization. There are no facilities at these sites, we will bring all the required materials ourselves.
Our team will make sure that all your needs are met during your private bush camp. The chef will prepare three delicious meals each day, the field-assistant will provide you with warm water to shower and the guide will take you on beautiful game drives!

Our customers describe the Bush Camps as luxurious camping. The strong canvas dome tents are 2.4 x 2.4m and are 2m high. We fit 2 stretcher beds with duvets in the tents (mattress, blankets & sheets and pillow). And a luggage rack, chairs and a washing basin outside the tent. To prevent you from having to leave the tent at night, our tents have a so-called ensuite. The back of the tent is expanded with a toilet.
